Who Are We?
We are a group of native Mandarin speakers from Universities across Canada, China, and the United States who are experienced with tutoring or volunteering with children aged 5 to 12. We have organized this initiative to provide virtual one-on-one Mandarin tutoring to children aged 5 to 12 who are learning Mandarin as a second language.
As a social enterprise, Cvalley Global will be offering both volunteered and paid services, and all profits made will be used to continue developing the organization (website domain renting, free special events, etc.)

To provide Mandarin tutoring to children in a stress-free conversational environment and to foster inter-cultural communication.
Our Services:
Our tutors provide one-on-one virtual classes that create opportunities for students to express themselves and practise the Mandarin language. All classes will remain virtual until pandemic restrictions are alleviated. We aim to respond to student’s unique needs and work to enhance their verbal proficiency while offering them companionship as they come to learn a new culture.
Our services include both volunteered free tutoring sessions during the summer and paid one-on-one private tutoring throughout the year. There is the option to hire our tutor after the summer free tutoring sessions for private tutoring, but it is no obligation.

In the summer of 2020, Jingyi and her team of tutors have helped more than 30 families across Alberta with over 350 conversations, and has also received recognition from the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta.
